Google SEO Techniques and Tips

Google search engine optimisation is the process of optimizing ones website in such a way that it gets higher results in Google search engine. According to reports, Google is considered one of the top search engines worldwide and about 70% of the web traffic is generated through this search engine. Google search engine marketing is the answer to getting your site found in the top spots in the Google search index.

The main purpose of creating a website is to generate sales for products and services. Among millions of websites it is difficult for a new website to create its identity so the use of SEO techniques for it helps to list your site in the top searches of Google search engine. There are various techniques which will help the site appear higher in Google search engine results. Some of these techniques include:

Domain Name-One should choose the domain name of the website that contains primary keyword phrase. The domain name should be such that it is easy to spell and remember.

The other technique is identifying the traffic targeted keyword so that the potential customers shall view the site. With keyword suggestion tool, one can see how people search for a particular keyword and choose a keyword which has a better chance of ranking. After getting the right keyword, using it appropriately in every page of the website is necessary as it is intended to appeal to both visitors and search engine.

Keyword density- Keyword density is the important part of Google search engine optimisation. It is the number of times that keyword appears in the webpage text. One can take reference to competitor's keyword density that they are using. Keyword should generally be in the top of the page.

It is important to have good construction of title tag as each page should have different title with 2-3 keyword phrases in the beginning. Some of the bad search engine optimisation techniques can get one blacklisted on Google search engine. These techniques include invisible text, refresh tags, identical pages, cloaking and tiny texts. These techniques may help a website get higher rankings in the short run but will damage the company sales in the long run.

There is a vast amount of information available regarding Google seo techniques that are available over the internet. This information benefits new websites in getting them visible on Google and basically increasing sales.

A Beginners Guide To Search Engine Optimisation

The doom and gloom of the recession seems to be haunting businesses everywhere, the media constantly presenting sad facts and figures. What seems to have avoided the real slog however seems to be online sales, which are doing alright despite what is happening else where. Here in this article we shall be looking at different types of search engine optimisation, what it is and how it can benefit your company and boost online sales.

Search engine optimisation has only really been around for the last ten years, when it first became established. Since then methods to optimise your website has changed again and again as search engine tools have changed how they search for information online. But it has come a long way from its beginnings as companies in the past have used unethical SEO to gain traffic to their sites and now there are penalties for websites that use these methods whereas in the past there was very little anyone could do.

So what is unethical SEO? From November 2005 the lines between what is considered ethical and unethical search engine optimisation was defined. The change here now represents what is allowed and what your website must comply with, as outlined by the search engines. At the same time as this, technology was released that would enable search engines to screen out websites that do not follow these regulations, a huge corporate example of this would be BMW's expulsion from Google in 2006.

Ethical SEO is far better for both internet users and companies in the long term, although at first the unethical tactics, or 'black hat' tactics may work, you risk being removed from Google or another search engine indefinitely, which is devastating to a company. Using ethical search engine optimisation allows companies to set up strategic plans and research their websites compliance without breaking any regulations.

Simple aspects in your website could therefore be holding your company back inadvertently, for example, something such as your server not being set up correctly can result in your website being suppressed. If the server is incorrect then software that reads your site will be unable to and presume that what may well be an ethical and relevant site is not. This occurs more often that you would think and mainly to corporate websites, who have spent large amounts of money on SEO and think that this money has been wasted, when in actual fact it is a small problem that needs to be corrected.

SEO Tips - How to Get Your Website Indexed by Google in 1 Day

SEO is the bed rock of internet marketing and every website should implement it. But before you can optimize your website, you need to get it indexed by search engines. If your website is not indexed, it will not appear on Google search result page. To index a new website in 1 day, it is not impossible. You just need to know the different ways to let Google notices it.

In this article, let me share with you a few tips to get your website indexed by Google in 1 day:

1. Submit your website to popular social bookmarking sites. Google loves popular social book marking sites like Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon. Every day, Google bots will visit these sites and pick up new content to index. If you submit your website to these sites, Google will most probably pick it up within a day.

2. Submit a XML sitemap file to Google. A XML sitemap file includes links to every page of your website. You can easily generate a XML sitemap file online. Once you submit it to Google, you notify them about your website and they will send their robots to index every page of it.

3. Write articles and submit them to article directories. Include your website URL in your article author's resource box and submit them to popular article directories like EzineArticles and GoArticles.

4. Submit your website to search engine friendly directories. Submit your website to a list of directories such as DMOZ, Yahoo Directory and BOTW. Google bots visit these directories every day and allow your site to get noticed quickly. But, not all directories are free. Some required you to pay an annual or one-time submission fee. So make sure that you find out the details before submission.

5. Place HTML text links on your website. Google bots follow text links to discover other pages of your website. By placing HTML text links, you allow them to follow the links and index all pages on your website.

6. Place your website URL on social networking sites. Popular social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace are regularly indexed by search engines. When your URL is placed on these sites, it allows robots to discover your site and index it quickly.

Get your website indexed by Google is the first step to SEO success. By getting a link on sites that are regularly indexed by robots, it will ensure that your website get indexed quickly
